Stormwater Program
Stormwater Program
Thank you for visiting the St. Clair County website for water quality planning and stewardship activities. St. Clair County leads the Northeastern, Anchor Bay, and Belle River Watershed groups.
Storm Water ProgramÂ
Included below are the documents associated with each measure required for a complete stormwater management plan (SWMP) as a part of the St. Clair County MS4 permit application.
Watershed Partnerships
As a leader of these groups, St. Clair County partners with local communities and school districts to meet federal regulations from the Clean Water Act. These regulations require improvements in the rivers and streams used for boating, swimming, and fishing.
The watershed groups are committed to protecting, enhancing, and celebrating local rivers. Information regarding local efforts to improve water quality and family activities that support these initiatives is available throughout the website.
