The St. Clair County Treasurer handles accounting for all county revenue, investment of idle funds, collection of delinquent taxes, reconveyance of property; and the certification of deeds and plat maps.

We also provide record keeping for various state agencies and are responsible for recording and correcting all but current year changes made by local Boards of Review, Michigan Department of Treasury or the Michigan Tax Tribunal.

No Personal or Business Checks will be accepted in the month of February for tax year 2010 and months of February and March for tax year 2009 or prior. U. S. Post Mark will not be accepted and guaranteed funds are required, if you pay in our office we can accept Cashiers Check, Money Orders, Credit Cards, or Cash. If you pay on our website we can only accept Credit Cards. For questions regarding payment options please feel free to contact our office at 810-989-6915.

At this time, the County Treasurer no longer has any properties available for sale. A list of 2012 forclosures will not be available until after July of 2012.
