Administrative staff maintains an office in the County Administration Building in Port Huron. Park Maintenance and Marketing staffs are located at Goodells County Park.

Purpose of the Commission
The general purposes of PARC shall be:
  1. To study and determine the extent of need for parks, preserves, parkways, recreation and other conservation facilities within the County.
  2. To develop cooperative planning efforts wit the various cities, villages, townships and school districts concerned with parks, recreation and conservation services
  3. To serve as an information center for local parks and recreation commission/boards.
  4. To prepare and recommend to the County Board of Commissioners, the adoption of a comprehensive coordinated county-wide parks and recreation plan.

BA & MA degrees in Municipal Recreation & Recreation Administration from Central Michigan University
Certified Parks and Recreation Professional thru the National Recreation & Park Association

St. Clair County Parks and Recreation Director since 1995
Oxford Township Parks and Recreation Director from 1981 to 1995
Grand Blanc Parks and Recreation Assistant Director from 1978 to 1981

Family - Married for 24 years with two daughters.

“When I started I mostly delivered the showmobile and bleachers. From mowing lawn to wiring buildings, I have done it all. I have enjoyed seeing how much the park has changed over the years. It’s becoming more modern, yet it hasn’t lost its country feel.”
