Road Maps
The Metropolitan Planning Commission offers several road maps to the public.
One of these maps contains county roads, state highways, interstates, and address
ranges. This map does not contain any local streets such as those in the City of
Port Huron, Capac, and other cities and villages. The St. Clair County Road Commission
prints this map. The Metropolitan Planning Commission sells the map for $1.00. You
can obtain one copy of it at no cost from the Road Commission offices (they are
located on Airport Drive at the County Airport just off of Gratiot Avenue south
of Marysville).
A private vendor produces the other map that we sell. The same map can also be found
in many local stores and gas stations. The ‘Universal Map’ contains all the same
information as the County Road map but it also includes all local roads with detailed
maps for cities and villages (including Sarnia, Canada), address ranges, places
of interest and a listing of shopping centers, hospitals, industries, public facilities,
historic sites, and more. We charge $3.00 for that map.
(Prior to purchasing a road map we would suggest you take a look at one of the telephone
directories that is delivered to every home and business in the County. Both contain
accurate and quite detailed road maps.)
If you wish to visit our offices to purchase either of these maps you can do so
during normal business hours (8:00 – 4:30, Monday through Friday). Our offices are
located at 200 Grand River, Suite 202 in downtown Port Huron. You can also call
(810) 989-6950 or use the on-line Product List/Order
form to place an order.
