Local Planning

A primary charge of the Metropolitan Planning Commission is to provide planning assistance to local communities. This includes information, advice, research, review, and training on zoning and a full range of planning issues. In partial fulfillment of this mission the Metropolitan Planning Commission and staff works closely with all local units of governments in the county as well as their planning staff or consulting planners.
