DENTAL CLEANING & FLUORIDE PROGRAM
WHO IS ELIGIBLE:
Children pre-school to grade 12 in the school setting during the school year and
various locations during the summer months
SERVICES OFFERED:
Registered Dental Hygienist will clean teeth and apply fluoride to the surface of
teeth. In addition, children will receive instruction in good dental hygiene practices
and healthy eating habits.
WHO PAYS:
Medicaid, Healthy Kids, MiChild or fee for services.
HOURS:
Scheduled in most public and private schools in St. Clair County. Also, Teen Health
Center, St. Clair County Health Department, Downriver Community Services and other
locations during the summer months. Watch newspaper for monthly schedule. Information
sent home from school with child.
