Immunization Travel Program
WHO IS ELIGIBLE:
Infants 6 months old, children, adolescents, and adults.
Before you see the world see us! Travel consultations
consist of a nursing visit to discuss the TRAVAX* printout that includes
recommended immunizations, preventive education, malaria recommendations and
safety tips. Administration of vaccine(s) can take place at time of consultation
or an appointment can be scheduled. Appointments for travel vaccinations should
be made 4-6 weeks in advance of departure.
Vaccination fees are in addition to Consultation/TRAVAX fee. TRAVAX
is a computer program for Travel Clinics only, updated monthly with current CDC
medical recommendations and put into a packet of information for the client.
10:00 AM - 6:30 PM Monday by appointment.
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Tuesday through Friday by appointment.

and MDCH that explain both the benefits and risks of vaccine to vaccine
recipients. Federal law requires that healthcare staff provide a VIS to a
patient, parent, or legal representative before each dose of certain vaccination
