St. Clair County CORS Network Data Formats:
Real-Time Data Outputs
All real-time data outputs via cell phone or CDPD from the St. Clair county CORS
Network is RTCM-104 Version 2.2 and is broadcast at a 1 second rate.

All of the St. Clair County stations are also accessible with the use of a CDPD
(Cellular Digital Packet Data) modem. The service for St. Clair County is available
via a mobile IP (internet provider) access number provided by Cingular Wireless.
The Cingular Wireless contact number for procuring a mobile IP address is Gordon
Degener at (586) 506-0000.
It should be noted that St. Clair County is serviced by the following CDPD towers:
- Capac
- Richmond
- Port Huron
- Marine City
- St. Clair
Effective range on these towers is approximately five (5) miles.
Post-Processing Outputs
The data from the St. Clair County CORS Network is available for post processing
from the Michigan Department of Transportation web site at www.MICHCORS.com. This
data is at a one second rate and available in RINEX (International Receiver Exchange
Format).
In addition, collected field observations can be automatically processed with the
NGS (National Geodetic Survey) OPUS (Online Processing User Service). All of the
St. Clair County stations are included in the ITRF (International Terrestrial Reference
Framework). OPUS can be accessed through the National Geodetic Survey website at:
www.NGS.NOAA.gov.
