Yale Bologna Festival

In its 13th year, the Yale Bologna Festival has garnered interest from celebrities such as Martha Stewart and Jay Leno. The festival started as a tribute to the bologna makers in Yale, who began producing the meat in the early 1900s.

  • The highlight of the festival, the Big Bologna Parade, marches down Main Street with over 150 entries from both the United States and Canada, it is one of the largest in Michigan
  • The favorite event of festival-goers is the outhouse race which features outhouses on wheels
  • Crowning of the Bologna King and Bologna Queen
  • Fireworks Display
  • Kkaraoke, Live Bands and Street Dancing
  • Fried Bologna Sandwiches, Bologna Hot Dogs, Bologna on the grill and more....
  • This event takes place towards the end of July
