(Port Huron)  An investigation into the sales of heroin in the Port Huron area ended Wednesday afternoon with one person arrested and the seizure of narcotics.


According to St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon, members of the Drug Task Force observed the suspect in their investigation exiting his residence in the 1100 block of Glenwood Ave. in the city of Port Huron at about 4:00 p.m.  The suspect, a 49 year old Port Huron man was immediately arrested.  A search of the man located $1000 worth of heroin, along with 32 analogue pills and cash.


The DTF then executed a search warrant at the man’s residence.  Inside, they located another $1000 worth of heroin.


The suspect was lodged at the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center.  He is expected to face charges including possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver analogues, maintaining a drug house and being a habitual offender.
