DTF TAKES MORE CRACK COCAINE OFF STREETS

 

(Port Huron)  The St. Clair County Drug Task Force concluded an investigation Wednesday night with three arrests and the seizure of narcotics.

 

According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the DTF was investigating the sales of crack cocaine in the Port Huron area.  That investigation led to a traffic stop on Military Street near Center Avenue at about 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.  One of the suspects in the investigation, a 25 year old man from Port Huron was arrested at the stop. 

 

Members of the Drug Task Force then executed a search warrant in the 3200 block of Avondale Street in Port Huron.  Once inside, they located and seized approximately $7000 worth of crack cocaine, a small amount of marijuana, pills, digital scales and packaging material.  Two Port Huron men, ages 26 and 19 were in the residence and were arrested.

 

The suspects are lodged at the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center, where they face charges including possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, maintaining a drug house and frequenting a drug house.
