(Pontiac)  Two St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Deputies graduated from the Oakland County Corrections Academy last week.


According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, Caylee Gordon and Jade Hilbec received their certificates on December 21st during a ceremony at the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.


The academy provides training in several areas to allow corrections deputies to conduct their duties more efficiently and safely for themselves and the inmates.  Instructions deputies receive include defensive tactics, first aid, cultural diversity, security of inmates and much more. 


“I am extremely pleased to congratulate Caylee and Jade on their graduation,” said Sheriff Donnellon.  “They worked very hard to complete their training.  I look forward to seeing them have long, successful careers at the Sheriff’s Office.”


The training began on November 1st and concluded with the graduation ceremony on December 21st.
