The St. Clair County Water Quality Board, appointed by the County Board of Commissioners, is responsible for developing a plan for managing surface water quality within the county. The St. Clair County Metropolitan Planning Commission provides staff support to the Water Quality Board. This Board also advises the Board of Commissioners on matters related to implementation of that plan. The Water Quality Board meets on the second Thursday of each month at 2 pm in the County Administration Building in downtown Port Huron. For more information on the activities of the Water Quality Board you can call or visit their offices, which are located in Suite 202 of the County Administration Building, 200 Grand River in the City of Port Huron.
