Using the Plan

Decisions that the County will be making relative to land use development, investment in public facilities and infrastructure, and support for specific programs will be guided by the plan. Decision makers will use specific goals, objectives, and policy found in the plan as a framework for their discussions.

These plan goals and policies are the outgrowth of an intensive effort to involve the public in creating a vision for the future of St. Clair County. Through this process the community helped the County to identify issues, set priorities and to craft an image of what St. Clair County could be in the year 2020.
