In St. Clair County local communities have authority over land use planning. If you have specific questions about community plans we recommend that you speak directly with the appropriate local community. Consult a telephone book or County Directory for telephone numbers.
The Commission does maintain a collection of local community plans and plan maps. They include land use plans, recreation plans, and other special purpose plans. If you would like to view these documents you can visit our offices in downtown Port Huron. Documents can be viewed for free, a nominal fee is charged for any copies you may request.
Our offices are located on the 2nd floor of the County Administration Building, 200 Grand River Avenue. Our offices are open from 8 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Please call ahead to make sure that a staff person will be available to assist you. Our number is (810) 989-6950.
