Census Information

As an official repository of the U.S. Department of Commerce Census material, the Metropolitan Planning Commission maintains an extensive collection of census data. Whether it is general population information or detailed information on retail spending, agricultural production, or housing it can be found in the Metropolitan Planning Commission’s library.

All material can be viewed at no cost; however there may be a nominal charge for copying any of the information. The Metropolitan Planning Commission offices are located on the second floor of the County Administration Building in downtown Port Huron. Offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. We can also provide information over the telephone, faxed, or in response to e-mail.

In addition to the Census Bureau publications, we do have a number of census related products that profile communities or certain types of data.
