Additional U.S. Census Bureau information can be obtained from a variety of sources. We would recommend that you try the following sites. You should be able to find some tabulated data at these sites as well as the ability to request customized reports or tabulations.

In addition to census data, some of these sites can be used to obtain other data such as building permit data, socio-economic data, housing data, business or economic data, and others.

U.S. Census Bureau
Contains a wealth of data along with information on recent publications and reports, and a schedule for the release of 2000 decennial census data. You can access reports such as the American Housing Survey, the Census of Agriculture, County Business Patterns, the Economic Census, generalized data such as the Statistical Abstract of the United States, and international statistical data.
Southeast Michigan Council of Governments
SEMCOG is a regional planning agency representing the seven county metropolitan Detroit region. It is a voluntary organization comprised of elected officials from member communities. SEMCOG's staff prepares numerous reports on topics currently of concern to the region. These include reports on population, the economy, land use, transportation, governance, and many others. SEMCOG offers many of its published products on line as well as access to a wealth of statistical data.
