DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to communicate effectively with the public and employees of the court buildings.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Knowledge of methods and techniques for maintaining proper order in a public setting.
Ability to remain alert at all times and to react quickly and calmly in emergencies.
Good physical condition, which shall mean the ability to apprehend, subdue and control individuals who require physical intervention.
Ability to operate standard office equipment including computer, fax, copier in order to keep simple records.
Ability to prepare and maintain accurate incident records, correspondence, reports and tabulations.
Ability to work with and maintain current knowledge of the court weapon screening equipment.
Familiarity with legal terminology and court procedures.
Ability to get along with the public and maintain working relationships with criminal justice officials.
Demonstrate good judgment, tact and courtesy.
Ability to deal with and maintain confidentiality in an appropriate manner consistent with court standards. |
