GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Responsible for data entry, copying and general office duties.
Responsible for harvesting new data and creating finished mapping products. |
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Reports to Director and Deputy Director. |
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
None. |
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess strong organization and communication skills, have proven technical skills and be self motivating. |
AN EMPLOYEE IN THIS CLASSIFICATION, UPON APPOINTMENT, MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from an accredited high school (GED acceptable) including or supplemented by courses in computers and business.
Strong skills using Microsoft Office programs including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
Camera operation, GPS operation and Arc-GIS software experience preferred. |
TYPICAL EXAMPLES OF WORK: (An employee in this classification may be called upon to perform the following tasks which are illustrative and not exhaustive in nature.)
Data entry.
General office duties.
Collecting and updating GPS field data.
Ability to utilize cameras and GPS units.
