To perform responsible Administrative Assistant office, secretarial, clerical tasks in a law enforcement setting.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Marine Division Director or other designated official. |

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Office procedure knowledge.
Computer skills.
Dictaphone skills.

AN EMPLOYEE IN THIS CLASSIFICATION, UPON APPOINTMENT, MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Office procedure knowledge.
High school graduate/GED.
Prior government experience.

TYPICAL EXAMPLES OF WORK: (An employee in this classification may be called upon to perform the following tasks which are illustrative and not exhaustive in nature.)
Typing and processing complaints.
Entering tickets for prosecution.
Payroll functions.
Daily, monthly, yearly reports.
Boating accident recording.
Water accident recording.
Telephone/radio answering.
Mailing, filing, correspondence.
