Humane Law Enforcement Office

The mission of the St. Clair County Humane Law Enforcement Office is to enforce state and county laws.  Our office investigates and prosecutes animal complaints in such cases of abuse, cruelty, neglect and other illegal activities.  Our office provides daily road patrols, respond to complaints, and all other calls for service.  The officers of the Human Law Enforcement Office continually train to better serve the citizens of St. Clair County and the State of Michigan.

The Humane Law Enforcement Office is also working hard to promote the health and safety of the citizens of St. Clair County, by insuring the laws governing animals that require vaccinations and licensing are enforced.  By ensuring that your animal has the required vaccinations and a current license, you are helping to promote a safe and healthy community to live and prosper in.

The staff of the Humane Law Enforcement division are dedicated to serving the citizens of St. Clair County with Pride and Integrity.
